RP end-June forex reserves at $39.6-B

MANILA - The Philippines' gross international reserves at the end of June reached a record $39.60 billion, slightly higher from $39.589 billion at end-May, the central bank said on Tuesday.
The central bank expects 2009 gross international reserves of $39 billion, compared with $37.55 billion in 2008.
