DepEd Undersecretary Vilma Labrador announces that DepEd’s Bureau of Alternative System (BALS) has postponed the conduct of the Alternative Learning System Accreditation and Equivalency (A & E) Test scheduled on Sunday, October 4, 2009 in all the testing centers in Mindanao.
 
Examiners are coming from Luzon, where a super typhoon is expected.
 
New schedule will be announced later.

The A & E Test intends to measure the competencies of those who have not finished formal elementary or secondary education. Passing the test will pave the way for their re-entry to formal schooling or allow them a chance to pursue other productive endeavors.
