Japan FM may discuss with PNoy aid for up to 10 Coast Guard ships

Japan’s new Foreign Minister, Fumio Kishida, is in Manila today and tomorrow to meet with President Benigno Aquino and his local counterpart, Foregin Secretary Albert del Rosario.
According to a news report in today’s South China Morning Post jointly bylined by Gred Torode and me, ” Kishida is widely expected to discuss the provision of up to 10 state-of-the-art coast guard ships to the Philippines under a development aid package, according to diplomats.”
