PAL deploys new aircraft for Tokyo flights
MANILA, Philippines - Philippine Airlines (PAL) announced Tuesday that it would start using its newest aircraft, the Boeing 777-300ER, for its daily Manila-Tokyo Narita flights.
Tokyo Narita is the second destination served by PAL's B777-300ER, which was delivered less than 2 months ago. The jet has been flying the Hong Kong route since November last year, and will be used for Sydney and Melbourne services by mid-March.
"The state-of-the-art aircraft, delivered less than 2 months ago, flies to Japan's premium international gateway in addition to PAL's Boeing 747-400 aircraft, reflecting the premium profile of the Japanese market," PAL said in a statement.
PAL said the new aircraft can accommodate 42 passengers in Mabuhay Class (business) and 328 in Fiesta Class (economy).
