Cebu Pacific offers new seat sale for Asian flights
Budget carrier Cebu Pacific is offering a zero fare promotion for 70,000 seats in various international flights commencing from Clark, Cebu, Manila, and Davao.
In a statement Thursday, Cebu Pacific said the seat sale includes flights to Bangkok, Guangzhou, Ho Chi Minh, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Kaohsiung, Kota Kinabalu, Kuala Lumpur, Macau, Shanghai, Singapore, and Taipei.
The Philippine-based airline added that a P1,999 promo fare for its 3-a-week Manila-Osaka (Japan) flights is included. It said passengers availing the Osaka promotion may refund their surcharges.
The promotion covers travels from February 1 to March 31, 2009, and travellers have only from January 16 to 22, 2009 to purchase their tickets, which are non-refundable, and exclusive of applicable surcharges and government taxes.
Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific's spokesperson, said, “We hope that many will take advantage of this opportunity to travel to our neighboring Asian destinations. This should also encourage tourist arrivals at a time when we would need them most."
For this summer season, Cebu Pacific is also expanding its international flight services by increasing its frequency from Manila to:
- Shanghai, from 5 times weekly to daily starting March 31;
- Kuala Lumpur, from 4 to 5 times weekly starting March 27;
- Macau; from 6 times weekly to daily starting April 1.
