MANILA, Philippines - The government will continue with stimulus spending for 2010, but on a reduced scale, as the government maintained its GDP growth target of 2.6% to 3.6% for the year, the economic planning minister said on Thursday.
"We will continue with stimulus spending although at a reduced scale," Augusto Santos told a news briefing.
Santos also said he was in favour of the central bank continuing its accommodative policy stance.
