MANILA, Philippines - Listed property developer SM Development Corp. topped the residential condominium market in Metro Manila, according to the latest study by Colliers International Philippines.

A report by Colliers' Advisory and Research Services indicated SMDC captured 24% of the residential condominium market. The Sy-led company sold more than 6,000 units from its 16 projects in Metro Manila from July to December 2011.

Colliers reported that more than 25,000 condominium units were sold in the second half of 2011.

SMDC said it has consistently topped the property survey since July 2009.

This year, SMDC will be launching new projects in Makati, Bicutan, Pasay, Quezon City, Mandaluyong and Taguig. It will also start the expansion towers for Jazz Residences in Makati, Wind Residences in Tagaytay, and Field Residences in Sucat, Paranaque.
