Oil companies slash pump prices

MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) – Oil companies are reducing the prices of its pump products on Monday, February 25.

Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. said its unleaded and premium gasoline will be decreased by 35 centavos per liter, while its kerosene will be cut by 70 centavos per liter.

Its diesel, on the other hand, will be slashed by 45 centavos per liter and its regular gasoline will be decreased by 85 centavos per liter.

Meanwhile, Petron Corp. will implement a 35 centavos per liter rollback in the prices of Blaze 100, XCS and Xtra.

It will also slash the prices of Pinoy and regular gasoline by 85 centavos per liter, turbo diesel and diesel max by 45 centavos per liter and kerosene by 70 centavos per liter.

Both oil firms will implement the price rollback at 12:01 a.m.
