Oil firms cut pump prices effective Sunday

MANILA, Philippines - Oil firms will be reducing prices of premium gas, diesel, and kerosene products effective 12:01 a.m., Sunday (March 10).

Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp., Chevron Philippines Inc., and Eastern Petroleum Corp. said they will be reducing prices of premium gas and diesel products by P0.90 per liter, while rates of kerosene will be slashed by P1 per liter.

The reduction came following lower fuel rates in the international market.

On Saturday, Seaoil and Flying V have already implemented a rollback in their fuel pump prices.

Seaoil and Flying V reduced the prices of unleaded and premium products by P1 per liter; diesel by P0.90; kerosene by P1 and regular gas by P0.50 per liter.
