Under the agreement, eTelecare agents would sell new service activations during inquiries originating from the service provider's website, toll-free telephone number and from customer service transfers.
eTelecare did not disclose the cost of the expansion and profile of its new client.
"Being selected by the industry leader with a reputation for high customer satisfaction is another validation of our value-driven customer satisfaction business model," said eTelecare president and chief executive John Harris.
eTelecare currently has over 3,000 sales agents working in 13 of its facilities in the Philippines and United States. The company operates seven local call centers in Mandaluyong, Makati, Muntinlupa, Quezon City and Cebu.
This year, the company expects to generate a revenue of $300 million to $310 million.
It also projects to generate a lower net income of $16 million to $19 million, compared to $23 million in 2007, due to the impact of the strong peso on its operations.
