MANILA -- Ayala Land Premier (ALP), the high-end property-development brand of Ayala Land Inc., plans to launch some P40 billion worth of projects for the year.

Jose Juan Jugo, ALP head, said the company would launch projects in major development areas of Ayala Land.

ALP announced on Tuesday its five-tower project in the former Food Terminal Inc., which Ayala Land has renamed Arca South. “ALP still has three more project launches for the rest of the year, as we pursue the goal of a P40-billion project launch for the year,” Jugo said, declining to name the other projects.

ALP unveiled Arbor Lanes, its first project in Arca South, which forms part of the residential segment of the whole development. ALP’s first tower would be composed of 208 units, priced at P170,000 per square meter.

Unit sizes run between 60 sq m for the one-bedroom unit and 200 sq m for the three-bedroom units. Jugo said the company would launch other towers within the next five years, or depending on the demand as Ayala Land develops the 74-hectare property from scratch.

ALP projects form part of the residential segment of the Arca South development, where two more of Ayala Land’s property-development arms, Alveo and Avida, would put up their respective projects. A total of 3,645 residential units are planned in Arca South, with ALP comprising 1,000 units, Alveo 902 units and Avida 1,609 units.

Alveo expects to generate P9.2 billion in sales from its Arca South project; and Avida expects sales of P5 billion.

Arbor Lanes is ALP’s second project launch for the year, after Soliento in Nuvali in Laguna.

Soliento is a community project that sells lots to buyers ranging from 600 sq m to 1,500 sq m. Ayala Land earlier said the whole group is launching some P142 billion worth of residential units for all of its five brands—ALP, Alveo, Avida, Amaia and Bella Vita.

ALP’s goal comprises more than a quarter of the whole launch reaching 78 projects.
