MANILA, Philippines - Concepcion-led food and beverage company RFM Corp. is teaming up with a US company Engrain LLC to produce flour and bread products for the Asian market.

In a statement, RFM said it will form a joint venture company with Engrain to be named Engrain-RFM Pacific. Engrain is a Kansas-based company that produces on innovative products for the flour milling and baking industries.

The joint venture company will market, sell and distribute enhanced flour and bread-related products in the Asia-Pacific region. This includes flour mixes that would improve the quality of flour in bread and other products.

As a pioneer flour milling company in Southeast Asia, RFM brings its expertise in flour milling to the joint venture.

On the other hand, Engrain has developed products for flour millers, bakers and processors, such as volMAX, which increases volume of bread and HydroMAX, which optimizes pasta texture.
