PacificHub eyes bigger share of BPO market in Asia

MANILA, Philippines - Manila-based PacificHub Corp. is eyeing a bigger share of the business process outsourcing market in the Asia-Pacific region.

PacificHub is partnering with Telemarketing Japan Inc. (TMJ), which has a range of customer management and back office operations in China and Japan.

Under the memorandum of understanding, PacificHub and TMJ will pursue joint marketing and sales efforts for multi-channel contact center and other BPO solutions to international markets.

"The agreement signifies the commitment of the two companies to develop and deploy solutions that heighten value for client partners. We seek to offer clients competitive solutions through delivery models that capitalize on best-in-class resources in key delivery locations," Manuel Lopez, Jr., PacificHub chairman and chief executive officer, said.

PacificHub has 1,000 employees and has handled over 30 client programs in North America, Asia Pacific and Europe in its 8 years of operations.

TMJ, a company owned by Benesse Holdings and Marubeni Corp. of Japan, has more than 200 client companies in various industries such as banking, financial services, telecom and manufacturing.

PacificHub and TMJ said their combined industry expertise and operational excellence will give them an edge, especially in the growing Asia Pacific market.
