2Go completes Pasig supply chain center

MANILA - Local logistics firm 2Go of the Aboitiz Group has completed the construction of its new supply chain center in Pasig City.

The new facility has a 2.6-hectare warehouse space with 22,408 selective pallet locations and racking of up to seven levels. It also has a 150-meter long dispatching dock that provides a four "drive-in" finger dock fit for ten-wheeler trucks and two hydraulic dock levelers.

"Upon opening, this high-quality supply chain center has already been selected as the facility of choice by Mead Johnson and Kraft Foods Philippines," 2Go said in a statement.

The Aboitiz Group said the new supply chain center also boasts of a 1,000-square meter office with IT computer rooms to accommodate principals on site as well as the 2GO operating staff.

The warehouse operates on a SAP system supported with a radio frequency barcode. The SAP system provides inventory management to allow transparency of information.

Aside from warehouse management, 2Go's services include order entry and releasing, transport planning and routing, delivery, and document management.
