Ayala Land unveils townhouse project in Pasig
MANILA - Property giant Ayala Land is making a foray into the busy city of Pasig with a P1-billion upscale townhouse community project targeting "achiever" families.
Located along Mercedes Avenue, near the business districts of Ortigas, Makati and Bonifacio Global City, Ametta Place is a 6-hectare township development that will feature one of the least dense neigborhoods in the area.
Half of the project's land area will be allocated for open and green spaces as well as amenities that will encourage family and community interaction, according to Ayala Land president Antonino Aquino.
Ametta Place will be undertaken by Ayala Land's wholly-owned subsidiary Alveo, the name behind in-city residential developments Two Serendra and The Columns Ayala.
"This project reflects our confidence as far as the state of the economy is concerned. Buyers are now coming back," Aquino said, noting that their domestic sales have begun to pick up.
"For the month, Alveo is tracking the same sales as last year," he added.
Ametta Place will be built based on the "boutique townhouse concept" and will sport warm and contemporary architecture, said Nerissa Josef, Alveo's vice president for project development.
"Introducing the boutique concept in real estate represents a movement away from the monotony in residential offerings which has long been characterized in Pasig," she noted.
Josef said Almetta Place will offer 2- and 3-story homes at prices ranging from P7 million to P9 million.
It is scheduled for turnover in 2012.
