RP's planned retail bond issue not in July: source

MANILA - The Philippines will no longer carry out a retail treasury bond offer in July as earlier planned, a senior government source said on Thursday.
"Definitely, it won't happen in July," the source, who asked not to be identified because he was not authorised to speak on the issue, told Reuters.
The government would make a final decision on the planned retail bond offer in the coming months, depending on the viability of its overseas funding options, the source said.
