MANILA – Communication Secretary Sonny Coloma reiterated government's assurances that it won't allow National Food Authority (NFA) rice to be sold as commercial rice by unscrupulous traders amid the increase in rice prices in the country.

Police reportedly raided a warehouse in Bulacan earlier today where it was discovered that NFA rice was being repackaged into commercial rice so it can be sold at a premium.

Coloma added that government continues to keep an eye on the prices of garlic as well.
