PAL offers ‘fly all you can’ pass; CEB holds seat sale

MANILA, Philippines - Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific are offering promo fares for the off-season months.

PAL is offering a "Fly All You Can" pass, which allows travelers to fly as many times as they want to 2 domestic destinations and 11 international destinations. The destinations are Cebu and Davao or from Manila to Hong Kong, Macau, Taipei, Singapore, Bangkok, Saigon, Jakarta, Beijing, Shanghai, Bali and Xiamen.

The Fly All You Can pass, which is sold from July 6 to 13, can be bought for as low as $316 for economy class and $1,318 for business class. Tickets must be used within eight weeks from date of first travel or on/before December 10, 2012.

The pass should be converted into any number of tickets to any of the designated destinations within a month of buying the pass. The pass can be used to the same destination more than once.

However, the price of the pass does not include government taxes, fees and surcharges. Taxes depend on the destination.

Travelers using the Fly All You Can pass can also get special discounts by as much as $100 on flights to Sydney, Melbourne, Tokyo, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Osaka and New Delhi.

The pass is available for purchase at PAL ticket office in the Philippines, online (www.philippineairlines.com), PAL Reservations (855-8888) or any Philippine-based travel agent accredited by PAL.

Cebu Pacific seat sale

Meanwhile, Cebu Pacific is holding an all-in seat sale to Boracay, Cebu, Vietnam, Cambodia, Singapore and Bangkok, from July 5 to 8.

The tickets are for travel from September 1 to November 30. Passengers can buy P1,988 all-in fares from Manila to Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh or Siem Reap; P2,688 all-in fares from Manila to Bangkok, and from Manila, Cebu or Clark to Singapore.

The all-in fares include fuel surcharge, administration fee and 7 kilos hand carry baggage allowance. However, it does not include country-specific taxes and check-in baggage allowance.

Cebu Pacific is also offering all-in fares for selected domestic routes, the travel period is from September 3 to November 30, 2012.

There are P588 fares from Cebu to Bacolod, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Dipolog, Dumaguete, General Santos, Iloilo, Ozamiz, Pagadian, Surigao, Tacloban or Zamboanga, as well as from Cagayan de Oro to Iloilo.

All-in fare of P888 is available from Manila to Bacolod, Caticlan, Cebu, Dumaguete, Iloilo, Kalibo, Roxas, Tacloban or Tagbilaran; as well as from Cebu to Caticlan or Clark.
