Ayala Land picks UBS, JP Morgan for $300-M REIT plan

MANILA, Philippines  - Ayala Land Inc. , the country's  top property firm, has appointed UBS to partner with JP Morgan as joint advisors and global coordinators for its listing of a real estate investment trust, a senior official said on Tuesday.

Ayala Land's chief financial officer Jamie Ysmael said the company was trying to complete the listing this year. Ysmael has previously said the company planned a $300 million REIT and JP Morgan would be an adviser.

Earlier, an official at SM Prime Holdings Corp., the Philippines' biggest mall developer, said it had picked CLSA and Macquarie as advisers for its planned REIT.
