Cebu Pacific launches 6 inter-island routes

MANILA, Philippines - Leading budget carrier Cebu Pacific (CEB) is launching six additional inter-island routes, as it expands its routes in the Philippines. 

Cebu Pacific will start thrice weekly flights between Cebu and Busuanga, and between Tacloban and Legazpi on October 4, using an ATR 72-500 aircraft.

On October 5, the airline will also launch the following flights: Davao – Butuan (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday), Davao – Dipolog (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday), and Tacloban – Iloilo (Monday, Wednesday and Friday).

Also, Cebu Pacific is starting a thrice weekly service between Zamboanga and Cagayan de Oro on October 20.

"CEB currently offers 63 domestic routes to 32 domestic destinations, providing passengers with the fastest access to key cities and destinations in the country. With these six new routes, CEB can offer the best connectivity options and the lowest fares to its guests, as well as promote trade and tourism in the destinations it flies to," said CEB vice president for marketing and distribution Candice Iyog.

Cebu Pacific holds an introductory P488 all-in seat sale for the 6 new routes until August 2, and for travel from October 4 to December 18.

Also, Cebu Pacific is offering P488 all-in seats for the following routes: from Iloilo to Puerto Princesa and General Santos, and from Cagayan de Oro to Bacolod. Also available are P1,488 all-in seats from Iloilo to Hong Kong or Singapore. Travel period is for November 8 to January 31, 2013.
