Some banks closed due to bad weather, floods
MANILA, Philippines - Bad weather and floods forced some banks to suspend operations in Metro Manila and some areas in Luzon on Monday.
All BDO branches nationwide are open.
For its part, Security Bank said bank operations have been suspended in Metro Manila and areas affected by flood in Luzon. C
"Customers from the aforementioned affected areas can continue to access their accounts through its ATMs and eBanking facility. For further assistance, please call our Customer Contact Center at 88-791-88," Security Bank said.
Most Metrobank branches open
Meanwhile Metrobank said most of its branches are open and can accommodate regular transactions.
However, the Quezon City branches are closed due to official holiday, while branches in the Bulacan and Bataan areas are closed as of 12 p.m.
Metrobank said operations in Cavite, Laguna and the following Manila branches are suspended as of 11:15 a.m.: Benavides, Sto Cruz, Sto. Cristo- San Nicolas, and Sto Cristo - CM Recto.
