BSP revises July reserves data

MANILA - Philippines gross international reserves at the end of July totalled a record $40.169 billion, revised Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) figures showed on Thursday.
The figure compared with $39.99 billion reported previously.
The BSP expects gross international reserves to rise to as much as $38.5 billion in 2009 from $37.55 billion in 2008.
