Bayan Business eyes freight, logistics companies
MANILA, Philippines - Bayan Business, the corporate solutions arm of Bayan Telecommunications Inc., is eyeing companies in the freight and logistics industry.
Bayan Business said it has increased its presence in Pasay and Paranaque, where most of these logistics companies are located, to better serve their telecommunications and connectivity requirements.
"Our expansion in the area is part of the company's thrust to grow and extend the reach of our data services into a much broader extent for companies operating in the freight and logistics industry," said Bayan Telecommunications chief operating officer Rafael T. Aguado in a statement.
Aguado said Bayan Business is starting a new node facility that will enable it to bring various Internet, data solutions and managed services offerings to freight and logistics companies.
Bayan group sales head Chito M. Franco said Bayan Business is set to increase its market footprint as it increases its capability to deliver solutions in the area.
Bayan Business started serving the cargo and logistics hub area in 2008 from a small segment of the Pascor Drive, where its first clients were located.
Now, as it makes additional investments for its Point-of-Presence (PoP) facility, Bayan Business will now be able to service more customers and clients.
