US BPO firm to open 5th PH call center
MANILA, Philippines - US business process outsourcing company iQor is set to open its fifth contact center in the Philippines next month.
In a statement, iQor said it is seeking to hire 1,200 customer care agents in the next 24 months, as well as supervisors, managers, trainers and call center professionals for the new site.
iQor, a New York-headquartered global provider of intelligent customer interaction and outsourcing solutions, is opening the call center inside SM Dasmariñas Mall in Dasmariñas City, Cavite.
Mason Argiropoulos, iQor chief talent officer, said demand for call center services in the Philippines remains strong.
"Between our centers in Clark and Davao, iQor now has more than 5,000 employees in the Philippines. We were attracted to Cavite for many of the same reasons that caused us to expand in other parts of the country: a deep talent pool of highly-educated, service-oriented people with excellent English-speaking skills," he said.
The company is looking for candidates with contact center experience, including customer care and sales. Potential candidates should also possess strong computer skills, and able to work a flexible schedule. Interested candidates may apply online at https://eapt.iqor.com.
