Recto: RP 2008 GDP growth target may not be achieved

The Philippines will find it difficult to achieve a full-year GDP growth target of 5.5-6.4 percent, Socio-economic Planning Secretary Ralph Recto said on Thursday.
He was speaking after the government announced that growth in the first half of the year was at 4.6 percent over the same 2007 period.
