Called WatchPad, the format is on Beta format and its full service is available for free to all PLDT MyDSL subscribers, Eric Alberto, head of company’s corporate business groups during his presentation at the plenary sessions.
The best feature of the new service is the buffer-time free video streaming which does not require a lot of memory space from personal computers or desktops, unlike in conventional video-sharing sites.
Existing subscribers will only have to register online to gain access into the new PLDT application and watch the eight available free TV and cable channels available, including MTV, CNN, CNBC and Cartoon Network, among others.
