US energy trade mission to visit PH
MANILA, Philippines - Delegates of various energy companies from the United States (US) are set to visit the Philippines this week, to explore opportunities in the energy and environmental sectors.
According to a statement by the US Embassy in Manila, representatives from the 14 companies are set to arrive in Manila on September 19 for a two-day trade mission.
“These companies have immense experience and expertise in the renewable energy sector, in the U.S. and worldwide. I believe they can help address the growing energy and environmental needs of the Philippine economy,” said US Ambassador to the Philippines Harry K. Thomas, Jr.
The delegates will be holding business-to-business meetings with potential distributors and customers along with discussions with local government officials.
