The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas expects the country's balance of payments surplus to fall below the current forecast of $2 billion for this year and is currently reviewing its estimates, central bank governor Amando Tetangco said on Friday.

The central bank has cut its BOP forecast this year at least two times. The Philippines recorded a BOP surplus of $8.58 billion last year.
