Jollibee opens 700th store in Baguio
BAGUIO CITY -- Leading fast-food chain Jollibee Foods Corp. (JFC) opened its 700th store for the country in the Summer Capital Friday.
President Benigno S. C. Aquino III graced the opening with Tony Tan Caktiong, JFC) chairman and chief executive officer; Ernesto Tanmantiong, Jollibee president; Baguio City Rep. Bernardo M. Vergara and other company officials.
The outlet is along Harrison Road.
JFC operates eight food chain brands, namely, Jollibee, Chowking, Greenwich, Red Ribbon Bakeshop, Manong Pepe and recently acquired Mang Inasal. Two brands are in China: Yonghe King and Hong Zhuang Yuan.
In 2009, JFC obtained a system-wide sales of P68.7 billion and net income of P2.7 billion.
