Filinvest Land expands BPO offices
MANILA, Philippines - Gotianun-led Filinvest Land Inc (FLI) is aggressively expanding its business process outsourcing (BPO) offices in Alabang and Mandaluyong, as the property company remains bullish on the market.
In a statement, FLI said it has completed the construction of its latest BPO office at the Northgate Cyberzone in Filinvest Corporate City, Alabang.
Vector Two, the 12th BPO office building in the Northgate Cyberzone, is being turned over for tenant fit-outs. The building adds close to 18,000 square meters of gross leasable area to the company's office portfolio.
FLI said Vector Two is already more than 90% taken up, and is expected to contribute to company revenues starting January.
The company also recently broke ground for its 13th office building in Northgate Cyberzone, along the corner of Alabang Zapote Road and Northgate Avenue. The 20-storey building will add another 20,000 square meters of gross leasable area, and expected to be completed in 2013.
Another building, Plaz@ E, is being planned for the northernmost section of Northgate Cyberzone. Plaz@ E will have 9 floors of office space with a gross leasable area of around 13,000 square meters. Completion of the building is targeted by late 2013 or early 2014.
FLI is currently constructing the 5-storey Filinvest Building along EDSA in Mandaluyong, which will be completed before the end of 2012.
FLI also has 3,500 square meters of office space in the Grand Cenia Condotel and Residences, located across the Cebu Business Park in Cebu City.
With these projects, the company said it will have a total BPO office portfolio of 258,000 square meters of gross floor area, one of the biggest in the country.
Earlier, FLI president Joseph Yap said the company will spend between P10 to P12 billion in capital expenditures for 2012 for new projects, as it sees steady growth in the property sector.
