Globe Telecom, Inc. on Friday said its network is ready for the expected surge in network traffic this holiday season.
In a statement, Globe Telecom said it has prepared for the foreseen increase in calls, text messages and mobile internet use as the country celebrates Christmas and New Year.
The Ayala-led telco also advised users to register to promos early to avoid "subscription traffic," which usually happens on Dec. 24-25, and 31, and Jan. 1.
"We understand that consistent and reliable connection is very important to our subscribers especially during this season, where holiday greetings are sent, received, and shared almost every second of the day," Yoly Crisanto, head for corporate communications at Globe Telecom, said in the statement.
The firm also noted its customer service channels are also available during the holiday season to respond to any issues and complaints.
