Budget carrier Cebu Pacific has teamed up with several credit card firms to include its airline seats as rewards to cardholders and clients.

Cebu Pacific has entered into loyalty partnerships with American Express, Bank of the Philippine Islands, Citibank, Metrobank, Rizal Commercial Banking Corp., Bankard, SB Cards and Unionbank for the program, the company disclosed in a statement.

The airline said the loyalty partnership program is designed to fit any reward and incentive scheme.

"The cardholders of these credit card companies may now convert their accumulated reward points into Cebu Pacific bookings. It also allows them to avail of Cebu Pacific Fun Tour packages at zero percent installment plans through their credit card company," noted Cebu Pacific vice president for marketing Candice Iyog.

Iyog said the airline's partner companies may also reserve seats for their clients through the Cebu Pacific website or issue Cebu Pacific gift certificates in denominations of P500, P1,000, P2,000, P3,000, P4,000 and P5,000.

"Our wide domestic and international route network from our operational hubs in Clark, Manila, Cebu and Davao can now be enjoyed by valued clients of these companies," Iyog said.
