PSEi breaches 6,200 level for the first time

MANILA, Philippines (UPDATE) - The Philippine Stock Exchange index breached the 6,200 level for the first time on Tuesday morning.
As soon as the market opened, the main index jumped to 6,219.15, up 0.43% at 9:31 a.m.
The PSEi closed the morning session at 6,251.66, up 0.96%, a likely intraday high.
On Monday, the PSEi closed at 6,192.42, its 10th record close so far this year.
