Hawaii has always been one of the world’s best island destinations.

Located right smack in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, this American state boasts of the best coastlines and the finest tropical weather. It is a unique getaway, and it is worth a trip to experience Hawaii’s signature aloha culture.

Hawaii is the birthplace of surfing. With boards filling the entire Maui Beach, it was a must for Sports Unlimited host Dyan Castillejo and her son Matthew to join the cloud nine party.

Matt was thrilled to ride the waves. You could see his big grin every time he was able to stand up on the board.

According to Dyan and Matthew, It was an amazing feeling to be able to balance and control the board while having a breathtaking view of the beach.

Dyan and Matthew also cruised from Maui harbor to Lana'i. They were lucky to spot pods of dolphins doing their acrobatic jumps.

During their cruise, the two also went snorkeling.

Afterwards, they went to Honolulu’s famous Waikiki Beach, where Dyan got to jog by the beach.

Hawaii is a perfect place to go on a historic tour. Visitors to Central Oahu’s Pearl Harbor, for instance, is a great way to learn more about World War II. You can even go through one of USA Battleship’s submarines.

Hawaii will always be one of Dyan's favorite beach destinations. With its perfect waves, tropical weather, and welcoming culture, you can’t go wrong with this island’s wonderful vibe. ‘Til next time! Aloha, Hawaii!
