Zanjoe Marudo-Anne Curtis team up soon on ABS-CBN
Zanjoe Marudo, one of the hottest male stars in local show business, said that a television series titled “The Wedding” with award-winning actress Anne Curtis is his upcoming project on ABS-CBN.
According to Marudo, the cast and crew of the new television series have already begun shooting some part of the series. He said the taping will resume early part of this year after the TV series “Dyosa.”
Curtis and Marudo are among Dyosa’s major stars.
“Naka-plano siyang ilabas ng 2009 so hopefully matuloy,” Marudo said.
In a previous interview, Marudo said tapings for The Wedding were stopped because of conflict in schedule.
Marudo is currently busy filming an independent film on top of his TV programs and shows abroad.
Marudo, a member of all-male group “Coverboys,” said his group is preparing for a series of shows this year.
This January, the actor is set to perform, along with Pooh, Pokwang and John Lloyd Cruz, in the Sinulog Festival.
Meanwhile, Marudo said he sees no problem in doing a project with his real life sweetheart, actress-host Mariel Rodriguez.
“Kung mayroon siyempre gusto ko na maka-trabaho siya kasi mahirap siyang kuhanan ng schedule kasi everyday nasa ‘Wowowee’ tapos may ‘[Entertainment]-Live’ pa siya.
“Parang magsa-suffer ang show kung magte-taping siya after ‘Wowowee’ palagi. Hapon na so parang konti lang ‘yong makukunan,” he explained.
