Locations for 'Bourne' shoot in Manila bared
MANILA, Philippines - Metropolitan Manila Development Authority chairman Francis Tolentino revealed on Tuesday that the shooting of the much-awaited film "Bourne Legacy," the fourth part of the Hollywood action thriller spy film "Bourne" series, will take place in different places of Metro Manila.
"Kasi ang alam ko eight places 'yan. Mayroon sa Intramuros, mayroon sa Navotas fishport," he earlier told abs-cbnNEWS.com.
Other locations bared to ABS-CBN News include: Marikina City Market, San Andres Market, Navotas Fishport, Ramon Magsaysay Blvd., Ayala Avenue, Nagtahan, Pasay Taft, Intramuros and Jones Bridge.
In an interview with ANC on Monday, Tolentino said the film's production selected the Pasay Taft Rotonda as one of the locations for some of the movie's car chase sequences.
"I think they selected Pasay Taft Rotonda. Magulo talaga ang area. So it's about time that we redo the area because it will be shown worldwide. So it's an eye-opener for us na ayusin namin ang Pasay-Taft Rotonda," Tolentino said.
Asked to confirm reports that cameras will start rolling on January 14, Tolentino replied: "Hindi ko pa yan mako-confirm."
Tolentino said the latest "Bourne" film will be filming in Manila for a month.
According to the website IMDb, "The Bourne Legacy" will be written and directed by Tony Gilroy.
It stars Oscar-nominated actor Jeremy Renner ("The Hurt Locker") as new CIA operative Aaron Cross.

kadiri nman bakit maynila pa dapat sa mga magagandang probinsya na lang natin sa pinas,madumi matao polluted mga bulok na jeep mga squatters mga basura sa daan..linisin nyo buong maynila sobrang nakakadiri sa kadumihan kya walang turistang naaliw sa manila..ngayon nyo lang balak ayusin dahil pag shoo shootingan pero kung walang shoot hahayaan na lang magulo at madumi na adopted na ng buong pinoys.
