A 46-year-old female fan of actor Richard Gomez died of a heart attack Sunday morning in Calauan, Laguna.
 
Lucy Anciado suffered a heart attack reportedly after seeing her idol in person. Anciado was rushed to St. Rose Medical Clinic in Pila but she was pronounced dead on arrival around 9:30 a.m. 
 
According to Anciado's family, Gomez, who is active in sports, and his friends had been to their village four times to shoot birds.

On Sunday, Gomez’s group arrived in Pulong Dayap Barangay San Benito around 8:20 a.m.

Upon seeing Gomez, the family said the visibly overjoyed Anciado, who was diagnosed with hypertension, had instructed her child to take the actor’s photos.  Before they could take the pictures, however, Anciado suffered a heart attack.

Reports said it was Gomez’s group who rushed Anciado to St. Rose.

Reports said Gomez had been informed about the incident but he purportedly did not promise any financial assistance to the Anciado family.
