MANILA, Philippines - Hunk actor Derek Ramsay is set to undergo a knee surgery this year.

The "I Love You, Goodbye" star divulged that he needs to undergo “a full reconstruction surgery” on his right knee after it was injured while playing Frisbee.

"Papaayos ko na ang tuhod ko. Pahinga ko na muna ang tuhod ko," Ramsay told ABS-CBN News.

Ramsay, boyfriend of actress Angelica Panganiban, said he can no longer delay the operation since he is already in a lot of pain.

"Kailangan na talaga. It's not everyone is telling me na I have it done, but hindi ko na kaya. Sobrang sakit na talaga," Ramsay stressed.

Currently, Ramsay is gearing for another television series,"Habang May Buhay," alongside Judy Ann Santos. Ramsay's last television project was "Your Songs Presents: Ang Lalaking Nagmahal sa Akin," with actress-host Toni Gonzaga.
