MANILA, Philippines – News anchor Pinky Webb is not yet ready to entertain new suitors following her much talked about break-up with Lakas-Kampi-CMD vice presidential bet Edu Manzano almost 2 months ago.

“PMA. Pahinga muna, anak. Pagkatapos mo ng magpahinga [tsaka ka magpaligaw]. Kailangan buuin mo muna ang puso mo ulit,” Webb said on radio dzMM’s “Tambalang Failon at Sanchez” Monday when asked by co-host Ted Failon if she is ready to fall in love again.

Monday’s brief interview was the first time that Webb, who is sitting in for Sanchez, opened up about Manzano. In a rare opportunity, Webb allowed Failon to ask her 3 questions only about the relationship.

Failon said: “Panay ba ang tawag?”

“Hindi,” Webb replied.

Failon added: “Wala na bang pag-asang magkabalikan pa?”

To which, Webb responded: “Who knows what will happen in the future. Ikaw ba masasabi mo ang nangyayari sa buhay mo in 2 months, 3 months, 1 year? Tsaka ugali ko yan. Hindi talaga ako nagsasalita ng tapos ever since. Hindi magandang magsalita ng tapos dahil hindi mo alam ang ibibigay ng Diyos.”

Manzano and Webb, who were together for 5 years, split up after he declared his VP bid in May elections. In his previous interview, Manzano admitted that not telling Webb about his decision to run for VP was among the reasons for the separation.

Like Webb, Manzano refused to further discuss the circumstances behind the break-up.

“The personal aspect, maybe we should just keep it to ourselves. I don’t think it will have basis or impact on the campaign. There are just some things that will not always go the way we planned it,” Manzano said in his previous interview.

But he clarified that it was a mutual decision. “We have opted to go our separate ways and we'll hope for the best.”

The separation came amid reports that the 2 were already planning to tie the knot.
