Singer-actress Sarah Geronimo finally broke her silence on the reports that actor Rayver Cruz is the man who inspires her.

The Pop Princess also spoke on the issue that the actor is wooing her.

In an interview, Geronimo who considers Cruz as her friend admitted that she communicates with the latter but this does not mean that the actor is already courting her.

"Basta iyon muna. Wala namang masama kung maging magkaibigan kami. Kung nagkakausap kami wala naman sigurong masama doon. Hindi naman ibig sabihin na nagliligawan na kami," she said.

On reports that Cruz has already confirmed his love for the singer, Geronimo just replied that 'love can wait.'

"Hindi ko alam ‘yong may ganoon ganoon. Sana kung totoo man talaga love can wait hindi naman ‘yan minamadali. Kasi mag-trabaho muna tayo at mag-aral muna," she said.

It will be recalled that Geronimo made headlines when she confirmed that she's happy just seeing her showbiz crush but refused to reveal the guy's identity.

So when asked of her reaction if time comes that Cruz will finally court her, the singer replied: "Kung dumating ang panahon na nandoon pa din siya, di okay kung manliligaw siya e di itatanong natin kay mommy."

Though, the month of hearts is fast-approaching, Geronimo stood firm on her decision not to get involved in a romantic affair since she said she knows her priorities -- her career.

She also said that her parents see no problem if she has an inspiration now since she's very open with them.

"Opo wala naman kasi, alam naman nila kung ano ang priorities ko. I think nagtitiwala naman sila sa akin at lagi silang nandiyan nakabantay nakikita ang galaw ko pinapakita ko sa kanila na wala silang dapat ipag-alaala," the singer said.

Geronimo who is now busy shooting "You Changed My Life," the second installment of her hit movie "A Very Special Love" said she's not yet sure if Cruz will also be part of the film. She said however she will be happy if it happens.

"Kung sakaling matuloy, siyempre excited ako na maka-trabaho si Rayver sana maging maayos kung anuman ‘yong maiko-contribute niya doon sa pelikula," Geronimo said.

According to Geronimo, Cruz gave her a perfume as a gift last Christmas. The singer also shared that up to this date she is still thinking of what to give to the actor.

"Wala po akong gift sa kanya, pero aayusin ko ‘yon," she ended.
