MANILA, Philippines – Actress Heart Evangelista was brief with words when asked for a comment on reports romantically linking her former boyfriend, Brazilian-Japanese model Daniel Matsunaga, to host-actress Kris Aquino.

In an interview with entertainment website Pep.ph on Tuesday, Evangelista stressed she is happy for Matsunaga if he decides to date other girls after their breakup.

“I'm happy for... kung saan siya masaya,” she said.

Teased that Matsunaga seems to like girls born on Valentine’s Day, Evangelista replied: "Ewan ko sa kanya. Bahala siya."

Both Aquino and Evangelista were born on February 14.

Matsuga and Evangelista became a couple for one year and six months.

While Matsunaga is currently being linked with Aquino, the TV host has repeatedly denied that something is brewing between them.

Putting an end to rumors linking her to the Brazilian-Japanese model, Aquino said that she wants to have an old man as her next boyfriend.

But on "The Buzz" last Sunday, Matsunaga, who is among the guest co-hosts of "KrisTV," revealed that he gave a Christmas gift to Aquino as well as his two sons, Josh and James Yap Jr.

He said he gave the host-actress a DVD of Christan band Hillsong, while he gave the two boys cupcakes.

Evangelista, on the other hand, is in a relationship with Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero for eight months now.

“Sana [siya na talaga]. Ayaw ko na talaga [ng iba eh]. In all fairness, sa lahat ng mga naging boyfriend ko, talagang ano siya, I really get along with him. Mahilig kasi ako na magkuwento. Nagkakasundo talaga kami. Hindi pa kami nag-aaway,” Evangelista said of Escudero.
