Kian Kazemi’s Facebook account hacked
MANILA, Philippines – Kian Kazemi claimed that he has been victimized by hackers.
Kazemi, one of the hosts of travel show “Trip na Trip” and former housemate of Pinoy Big Brother (PBB), told “The Buzz” how horrified he was after discovering that hackers were able to access his Facebook account and wrote in his shout out that he was gay.
The controversial shout out reportedly read: “After all the years of denials because of showbiz and against the wishes of my manager, has finally decided to come out of the closet. All you cute boys, I’m single and ready to jingle!”
According to Kazemi, this was how he discovered what he reportedly branded a "big lie:" “I was in the car and my friend called me. Sabi niya, ‘Kian, is it true, is it true?’ I’m like, ‘What's true? What are you saying?’ And she’s like, ‘That you write something on Facebook, that you came out,’ So, naghanap agad ako ng Internet access para i-check ko kaagad ang sinasabi niya o baka niloloko lang ako. ‘Yon nakita ko nga.”
The former PBB housemate, who categorically denied that he is gay, immediately erased the shout out and changed his password.
But by the time he deleted the controversial shout out, people have already read it. Kazemi lamented that it had been posted for more than an hour already.
“I have gay friends who are professional in their fields. I have high respects for them. Pero ako I love everything about women,” he maintained.
He also laughed off speculations that there were really no hackers and that it was really him who wrote the shout out. Speculations said he purportedly did it to gain attention and publicity.
“Ayos, what a way. Of all ways, ganito pa? Ako, hindi ganitong way ang pipiliin ko,” he said, adding:
“I’m taking care of my restaurants right now… I’m still doing my dream job, which is a travel show, ‘Trip na Trip,’ I’m hosting that…. Whoever did that siguro naiingit lang siya. Ako, I’m living a simple life.”
He also has this warning to all Facebook users: “Ang Facebook napaka-public niyan. Kapag ginagamit niyo yan, ‘yong status or whatever you put there, it can go around the globe in a matter of minutes, in a matter of seconds. It can do wonders or it can backfire. Kayong bahala. So, use it wisely.”
Hackers comes from within
if Kazemi is not really the one who did it, there are a lot of possibilities that caused his account be hacked:
1. others know your password, either you tell them or you have written it somewhere else that others have read it
2. you use your account in a public computer where a password saving software is installed.
3. you didn't unclick the button that says "remember me"
that's why i have written some online tips in my site to warn others on how to protect themselves.
