KC Concepcion takes break from showbiz
Says sorry to fans for not doing 'Dyesebel'
MANILA - After joining the 2013 Metro Manila Film Festival via the action movie "Boy Golden," actress KC Concepcion said she will take a break from showbiz.
On Twitter, Concepcion said she will study abroad during the first quarter of the year.
The actress' last television project was the primetime series "Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala," which also starred Judy Ann Santos and Sam Milby.
"After doing a teleserye & a movie last year, together with my new endorsements, I realized there's SO MUCH more I can still learn about this industry. After getting pneumonia, I decided to take the jump & do something new for myself. I'm still a Kapamilya & will be back!" she wrote.
Meanwhile, Concepcion also apologized to her fans who were expecting her to star in the remake of the popular series "Dyesebel."
"Hi guys, I'm sorry to disappoint, but I will NOT be playing 'Dyesebel' I'll be studying abroad for the first quarter of the year," she wrote.
On Thursday, ABS-CBN announced that "It's Showtime" host Anne Curtis will take on the role of "Dyesebel."
