Young actor Sam Milby dismissed speculations that he and former sweetheart actress Anne Curtis are back in each other's arms.

In a statement made by Milby's official publicist Jobert Zucalidito, the actor admitted that reports saying he had dinner with Curtis before Christmas are true. But he stressed that they were with the actress' family.

"Totoo he went out with Anne. Tinreat daw niya ang family ni Anne for dinner sa Greentbelt, pero hanggang doon na lang 'yon. Hindi sila nagkabalikan. They are just friends," Zucaldito said on weekly entertainment show "The Buzz."

It was November of last year when Curtis confirmed over the same entertainment show her break up with Milby.

In a subsequent interview, Milby refused to eleborate on their separation. However, he said that there are things he and Curtis need to do as individuals and that they cannot help each other in that aspect.

Right now, Milby and Curtis consider each other as friends. They are still working together for ABS-CBN's popular show 'Dyosa.'

Curtis is also gearing up for another television series with Angel Locsin entitled "Buhay ng Buhay Ko."
