MANILA, Philippines -- The annual independent film festival Cinema One Originals is now accepting entries for its 9th edition.

Filipino filmmakers can now submit entries for either of the film festival's two categories -- "Cinema One Plus", for seasoned directors; and "Cinema One Currents", for "new-breed" filmmakers.

Selected film submissions in the Plus category will be awarded a P2 million production budget, while their counterpart in the Currents will be given a P1 million budget each.

Below are the requirements for film submissions, which will be accepted until Monday (January 14):

• Accomplished entry form with 2x2 recent photo
• Complete script of a full-length narrative feature and sequence treatment (must be a Filipino story)
• Resume and filmography
• Description of production team
• Portfolio of previous works in DVD format

Entries can be submitted to the Cinema One office located at 8th flr., ELJ Communications Center, Eugenio Lopez Drive, ABS-CBN Quezon City.
