Sharon says no more bad feelings against Gabby
Actress-singer Sharon Cuneta has ended a rift of many years with ex-husband actor Gabby Concepcion.
In an interview aired on "The Buzz," Cuneta said that she was moved by Concepcion's message for her birthday that was shown via VTR at Araneta Coliseum, last Friday, January 9th.
"Oo, touched nga ako," Cuneta said.
She added, "Hindi naman ako aabot ng 30 years kung hindi ko din nakasama si Gabby noong araw pa. I don't know if everybody can understand, I can only hope. Malaking bagay 'yong naging part naman ng buhay ko yung tao. Hindi naman pwedeng i-erase yon, at saka wala nang bad feelings between us."
Concepcion's greeting was taken from ABS-CBN's exclusive interview last Thursday in California where the actor is based.
In his message, the actor said that he was very happy to greet the Megastar and considered his message as the merriest greetings he did for this year.
Concepcion also shared his excitement at the prospect of doing a movie with Cuneta.
While everything is now okay between the former couple, the Megastar is still undecided on the issue of doing a reunion movie with Concepcion.
"Ayaw kong magsalita nang patapos. Like I've said before, ako talaga gustong gusto ko. I'm a fan of the team up. I'm sure siya din. Hindi ba kasi it's a team up na mahal na mahal ng buong bansa. Ang kinakatakot ko lang 'yun lang talaga ayaw ko lang magulo kami ng pamilya ko. But as of now mas priority ko ang peace of mind ng pamilya namin," Cuneta explained.
Cuneta also celebrated her 30th anniversary in showbiz through her birthday concert entitled “Songs of My Heart,” that was aired on ABS-CBN Sunday night.
