MANILA, Philippines - Friends and fans of sexy young actress Cristine Reyes couldn’t help but grow extremely concerned after reading her Twitter post last Sunday.

Reyes tweeted that she encountered a minor car accident while taping for her afternoon drama series with Jake Cuenca, “Precious Heart Romances Presents: My Cheating Heart.” She also posted a photo of her vehicle.

As relayed to “SNN: Showbiz News Ngayon,” Reyes accidentally hit a tree while driving a car in reverse at full speed. Apparently, it was part of a scene they were taking. But since it was already 3 in the morning then, and the place was quite dark, the actress failed to notice the tree just a few meters behind her, thus leading to a rather unexpected crash.

Fortunately, no one was hurt in the incident—not even Reyes who was alone inside the car.

With great relief, she said: “Okay lang. Di naman ako nasaktan. ‘Yong kotse lang... Wala, na-shock lang ako.”
