ABS-CBN contract star John Lloyd Cruz said that he believes his successful tandem with singer Sarah Geronimo is a gift.

Cruz, one of the country's bankable stars said that he and Geronimo's rapport in doing projects like their hit debut film together "A Very Special Love" is a gift that they are now trying to nurture.

"I believe it's a gift. It's very deep 'yung makatagpo ka ng isang kapareha in this kind of business na mayroon kayong ganoong klaseng chemistry," said Cruz. 

He added, "It's a gift na dapat inaalagaan, ino-nourish niyo ang magandang relationship sa isa't isa magandang pagsasama."

Cruz said that he too cannot explain their chemistry when the camera starts to roll. He just added there's something with the singer that he cannot define.

"Kapag tinitignan mo ang mata ni Sarah nagti-twinkle ang eyes niya. Kahit sinong tumingin kay Sarah makikita mo kung gaano siya kagaling na performer specially kapag nasa stage. I'd been vocal about it. Fan ako niyan, at kapag pinapanood ko 'yan I couldn't help but be mesmerized," he said.

Cruz is now working again with Geronimo for Star Cinema's upcoming film "You Change My Life," which is the sequel of "A Very Special Love". He said that he is eager to do more projects with the country's Pop Princess.
