Angel Locsin speaks up on 'crying' issue

A lot of speculations are now circulating after ABS-CBN contract star Angel Locsin cried at ASAP '08 last Sunday, January 11 while doing a duet with silver screen partner actor Piolo Pascual for the promotion of their debut film together "Love Me Again (Land Down Under)."
People were surprised and even Pascual was obviously shocked when he saw Locsin trying to wipe the tears falling from her face.
In an interview before the premiere of "Love Me Again (Land Down Under) at SM Megamall," Locsin begged not to elaborate on the real reason behind her tears and added that it is better if she will remain silent.
"Kilala niyo ako. Hindi ako nagsasalita about my personal life, my private life. Hindi ako mahilig magsalita. Hindi lang ako nagla-lie. So mas mabuting quiet lang ako," she said.
When asked if the reason for the tears is something personal, Locsin just said: "Hindi, hindi, wala. Sa akin lang siguro maganda lang ang pagkakanta ni PJ."
Though the actress declined to give the reason behind the crying incident, she did not deny that she has not been speaking to her rumored boyfriend Luis Manzano.
"Hindi kami nag-uusap pa since last week," Locsin said.
Asked if Manzano was the reason she cried, the actress said: "Ever since hindi kami vocal. Pero hindi kami nagla-lie hindi ba? So wala naman akong dapat sabihin," she said.
Asked if she and Manzano are still together, Locsin safely said, "Wala kaming sinasabi simula pa noong umpisa."
Last Monday, January 12th, over "TV Patrol World", Manzano gave his statement about the controversial 'crying' scene. He said that he hopes that people will respect his decision to keep mum on the issue.
"Kung anumang personal na pinagdadaanan ni Angel sana'y sa amin nalang yon," Manzano said.
