In an interview with ABS-CBN News on Tuesday, Gonzaga said she always includes her relationship with director Paul Soriano in her daily prayers.
“I’ve always been praying for the right time for me to settle down. When God tells me to slow down, settle down, that’s it for me. So far, wala pa naman. Sabi Niya go pa,” she said.
Gonzaga and Soriano have been a couple for five years now.
In his interview with “The Buzz” aired on Sunday, Soriano said he is ready to propose to Gonzaga after being in relationship with the TV host since 2008.
While she awaits for that time to come, Gonzaga said she will focus her time and attention to her work this 2013.
Gonzaga said she is looking forward to doing two movies under Star Cinema this year.
“Kanina I just came from Star Cinema. We discussed two movies that I will be doing this year. One is a very big project and the next one is going back to my roots – romantic comedy with a new love team,” she said.
Gonzaga, however, refused to divulge further details about her upcoming projects.
Meanwhile, Gonzaga shared that she will be flying to the United States this Thursday to celebrate her birthday.
“Pupunta ako sa Florida to attend the wedding of my cousin. That’s January 19, eh 20 ang birthday ko, so doon na rin ako magbi-birthday. Kasama ko mommy ko and sister ko. Daddy ko maiiwan kasi magkakampanya siya. Si Paul has a lot of work here so hindi rin siya napayagan sumama sa amin,” she said.
Asked of her birthday wish this year, Gonzaga said: “Wala ng materyal na bagay akong hihilingin. Everyday naman akong nagpe-pray so alam na ni God 'yung mga desires ng heart ko. As you grow older pala, nare-realize mo na life is not about material things anymore. You get wiser.”
“Na-realize ko 'yung pagkakaroon ng perpektong aspeto ng buhay, 'yung pagiging kuntento sa kung anong meron ka. Kuntento na ako sa kung anong meron ako,” Gonzaga added.
